In addition to all of Eric’s great qualities (handsome, intelligent, elegant, sweet, handy despite his heritage) he is also obedient. When Ilene decided that she wanted this birthday celebration to be quieter and without a party or fanfare, Eric had to oblige. Yet without a party, we still want to acknowledge Ilene in some way – besides great SWAG.
